02/28/01 Update: John writes that he has two children now, Ross (12) and Laura (11). His research at the University of Illinois centers on developing the technology for a silicon-based quantum computer, and sub-20nm gate-length MOS transistors that operate by field emission. He and his wife Mary look forward to seeing everyone at our 35th reunion.
