Dear Class of '95, I'm sure those of you besieged in grad school don't want to be reminded, but it's been almost five years since our last sunny day together on the Court of Man. (Okay, my memory is a bit selective, but the water stains came out of the diploma eventually, right?) What better way to celebrate the new millennium than by catching up with all those friends you haven't seen for half a decade? Our crack committee is working hard on plans. The reunion is the third weekend of May, the 18th through 21st. There will be a fancy dinner Friday night at the Ath. (We will invite a guest and have a classmate emcee.) For those of you who can make it earlier, we'd love to see you at the coffee house Thursday night, and we have a ton of reservations at the new Getty for Friday. As some of you might know, Saturday is Seminar Day; join us during the lunch break for Eddie's sandwiches and ultimate, even if you've had enough seminars for a lifetime! Stick around for Sunday to tour your old student house (or hovse as the case may be) and tell the slackers living there now how they're ruining all your favorite traditions. And of course there will be plenty of free time to just hang out wherever you want to. Please pass on word to people who graduated late! People in southern Cal and the Bay Area have already expressed a lot of interest; hopefully we can convince you people on the east coast, in Boulder, Seattle, and elsewhere to fly out for the weekend, too. We're looking forward to seeing everyone! |
