I graduated class of 1986 with a BS in Engineering and Applied Science.
I was a Darb from Dabney House. Dabney was the "house of gentlemen." At various times I was Cokeman and Historian.
Being at Tech had its ups and downs. It was probably the most stimulating time of my life. It required an extraordinary amount of commitment, focus, and hard work. My advice to people thinking of going to Tech: It is much easier if you have a certain amount of "maturity." Tech is not a great place in which to "grow up" since every kind of stimulation is available and it is easy to be distracted from the work that needs to be done.
