I currently lead the GCC Optimization team at IBM Research. I previously was a member of the K42 Research Operating System Project designing an operating system to address adaptive, scalable, shared memory systems. My recent projects have included enhancements to JavaTM performance on servers for cryptography and electronic commerce tasks through optimized implementations of multiprecision arithmetic on zSeries. I previously contributed to IBM Scalable POWERparallel (SP2) system software and environment research and development, especially message passing, high-level parallel languages, and high-performance I/O. |
