For our honeymoon, we spent eight great days exploring the western and northern countryside of Ireland. We flew out Sunday night (the day after the wedding) to Shannon Airport near Limerick, in Ireland. From there we took our rental car up the west coast, across to Northern Ireland, and back again. We stayed out of the major cities, stayed at bed & breakfasts each night, and did a lot of hiking and sightseeing of castles, ruins, hills, bogs and grassy meadows. And there is a lot of green in Ireland! (It's not just a marketing ploy!)
Here are just a couple
of our photos, to give you an idea.
