    To start with the basics: I was born in Romania, a bit too long ago, in August 1980.
    I came to the United States twenty-one years later, in September 2001.

    I graduated from the California Institute of Technology in June 2004.
    My classwork and research were focused on computer science.

    In November 2004, I joined Cadence Design Systems as a Software Engineer.
    My group is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So yes, I'm on the East Coast now.

  Personal
    I married Daniela on July 1st, 2007. Sorry girls, I'm out of the market.
    A few portraits of her are also featured in this sample of the artsy side of me.

    To wrap up this section, I should probably disclose my main hobby.
    It may sound mundane, but I've been crazy about cars ever since I can remember.
