I'm a Caltech alumnus (Blacker Hovse, Ex '70 and BS '89 in Chemistry). Here's how I looked back in 1966 (thanks to freshman classmate Steve Johnson for digitizing all 209 photos in the frosh mug book).
Born in Brooklyn, I moved to Los Angeles when eight months old and went to Third Street Elementary School, John Burroughs Jr. High (now a middle school), and Fairfax High School (Summer '66).
I live in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles with my wife and our four sons.
I do computer software engineering, as described in my resume, which is an Adobe PDF file. Since December, 2006, I've been at Boeing in El Segundo. I'm not looking for full-time work, just occasional moonlighting.
In addition to my career in software, I've been a part-time cantor for over 30 years.
