This is just a list of some of my favorite books I read as a kid... at least the ones I remember. Some kids books are totally worth reading as adults. C. S. Lewis' Narnia series, for example. Madeleine L'Engle's children's books are timeless classics as well. I used Meet the Austins as "chicken soup for the soul" one day recently and emerged much the better.
