Fiddling

I've played violin with varying degrees of seriousness since I was about 9. My training is mostly classical, but I also competed in Scottish fiddling fairs for several years when I was younger. I've achieved sufficient technical prowess to play almost any piece of music I want to... badly. (It's a good metaphor for my life, come to think of it.) I'm totally out of practice at the moment, but that has something to do with the fiddle and me being in different states (sometimes different hemispheres!) most of the time.
