  • Implemented a web-based administrative interface for online casino servers, using a combination of CGI scripts in Perl, Java servlets, and Java Server Pages (JSP), distributed across several machines. The administrative interface provided automated mechanisms to build, package, download, and install casino server software.
  • Created a mechanism to re-load new versions of Java code into a server without restarting the server, by re-instantiating a custom classloader.
  • Programmed various gambling applets and servlets, which communicated via custom protocols. Games included Keno and Pai Gow Poker, and were used by many on-line casinos, including FiveDimes.com and BringMeLuck.com.
  • Server components developed under Windows and Red Hat Linux, and deployed under Red Hat Linux.
  • Coded analytical tools to evaluate expected payoffs for Blackjack and Video Poker.
  • Wrote lesson materials and sample programs for an "Introduction to Enterprise Java" course.
