+50 @ Chez Johnson

I played in three mini-tournaments and came in 1st, 6th and 3rd. Official rankings will be posted soon. The first place finish netted me $60 and I got my $10 entry fee back from the 3rd place finish. I was in pretty good form the first game and had some great cards as well. When it was down to just me and Jim, I had red pocket kings twice in a row and both times I went all in. He folded the first time, but his ace in the hole the second time made him come along. Thankfully the kings held up. During the second and third games the cards were just marginal and I spent most of my time trying to stay out of the way. The 6th place finish isn't horrible considering that we started with 12 people, and I was happy to eek out my entry fee during the third game. There were two times I had to go all in (due to the blinds) and my lone ace held up the first time while my pocket jacks held up the second.
