-289 @ the Commerce Casino

Went to play on Saturday. First hand is 88. I make it 10 and get 4 callers. J 10 9. I bet 20 and all fold. I always have trouble with a hand like this; I have a complete underpair and an up and down straight draw, but I'd have the bad end of it if the Q hit.  That was why I decided to see where I was and it turned out ok instead of the possible waste of 20.

Next hand is A4 unsuited so I limp. Board gave me trip fours and no one stayed with me and my small bet.  Next hand I missed my fush draw and paid 20 for the privledge to do so. Up 20 in 10 minutes.

A9 in late. I was going to raise it slightly but someone already did it by going to 6. Two callers. AAJ. No jackpot possible since I don't have a kicker. I put out a bet of just 10 since I wasn't interested in getting into too much trouble if the case A was out there too. They all mucked. Up 14 at 30 minutes.

AQ. I make it 13 get 3 callers. The flop was rags but I get a caller with my 20 bet. Rags on the turn and river too. I checked all the way and he took it with 88. I bet I could have gotten him off it with a strong bet at the end but I just wasn't thinking like it was a good move against this particular opponent. Down 24.

More missed pots and i'm even lower. Q2 as sb. Q99 on the flop. I get the call when I bet 10, then raised when I bet 20. Down 55. Chips! I'm getting bad cards and when I get something playable they are not hitting.

When I hit J3 two pair on the flop (I was sb) I had about 70 left. I bet 15 get raised to 25 and another guy calls. I go all in and they both call. The guy with a pair of Qs who said that he knew I had two pair, but the guy with 4 to a flush draw made it on the turn. Damn it. That's $200 gone, and my rules I should really go home but I want to play and I really think that I can overcome this...i'm gonna put my name on the list. Turned out to be a bad decision.

Sit at seat 1 in a new table. A10 suited. I make it 13. Get one caller. JJ4, none of my suit on rhe flop. He goes all in. I muck. He shows 79 suited. Good play on this part

Few hands latter.  J6 suited as sb. 56Q on the flop. I checked, and the bet is 10 and I call since I also have a flush draw.  J in the turn. I bet 20. He goes all in for 60 more. I call. He has Q6. A 6 hits on the river but no good. I take my 11 and leave. Down 289 in less then 2 hours. The fatal mistake of that last hand is that I wasn't thinking about exactly my opponent may have had. But seriously, Q6, even if it is on the button?
