Even thought I left up 44 dollars after playing at the 100 buy in for a few hours, the real shame was that I was up over 300 at one point. You'll read why I didn't keep it.

Pocket 4 in middle position. I make it 6 and get 3 callers. Flop 2,3,6. I bet out 20 and get 2 callers. 7 on  the turn and I bet 20. Guy goes all in for 100 more. I muck. Should I have been betting at all? I don't think that my 20 on the flop was a bad bet, and the 20 on the turn was to see if I was still ok. I guess I wasn't.

I rebuy. Down 65 in 10 minutes.

AA early position. I wasn't sure how much I could make it and still get some action, but decide to make it 10. Should have bet more since I wound up with 3 callers. 2 6 j with two spades on the flop. I have one.  I bet 20 and get raised 80 more. I call his all in bet and he just has a J. Up 100 in 20 minutes

AK unsuited in late. I make it 10 and get raised to 30 by the big blind (the guy who I took with my aces). 4 callers, so that's 160 in the pot pre flop. 3 7 K no flush. Bet is 30 by a short stack. Call. Fold. I make it 100 to go, fully expecting the short stack to call, but he folds. As does the guy after him. I don't show. Up 275 in 40 minutes.

QQ under the gun. I make it 10. The short stack from the previous hand makes it 30 and everyone folds.  I put him all in for 40 more. He has ak. The flop misses then an A on the turn. I slap the table and start to regroup but the river is a q. He says "you're my nemesis today!" up 350 in 1 hour. I'm now the big stack with 550 in front of me. Maybe I should have left right then. One fellow I know gets up and changes tables when he is ahead, and starts out with $100 again.

Drain for quite a while. I had some good starting hands and sometimes I made it a nice bet, and sometimes I called a nice bet, but nothing happens. Up only 150 at 2.5 hours.

One of the most exciting hands was one in which I wasn't in. 28 q with one diamond and two hearts. A of diamonds on the turn. 7 spades on the river. The guy next to me turned over this 2 8 diampnds. But the dealer pushed it to the guy with A J. After he started stacking the chips peolple protested. I was one of the loudest. The guy with the A wasn't saying anything. Floorman. Everyone told their tales including me; I was positive that he had two pair, and after the table confirmed that the other fellow had an J and not a Q (which is what I thought he must have had and I misread it) several of us were sure that the 28 was the winner. He pointed at the players and asked the two players if they wanted to chop. What? There's a winner, why should you split it? The fellow with the 28 said no. They reviewed the tape. The money went to the right guy but the other started to protest that he wanted to see the tape! He came off looking bad; he knew that he didn't have the winner but didn't say anything, and then started protesting the final call.

AJ late. I make it 10. 3 callers. Flop is 2 10 A rainbow. Checked to me. I bet 30. Fellow goes all in for 150 more. He was an erratic player that I had seen do some very odd things (all in with 38 unsuited when he hits his 3), and I just don't put him on anything. I call and he has 22 and a set. The A hits the river but that just made him a boat. Down 60 at 3.5 hours. Was that a bad call on my part? Well, yeah, since I lost it was a bad call. However, I think that when a loose cannon hits the table I need to tighten up.

Red pocket 2. Flop is A 4 5 of hearts! Bet is 10. Four callers including me. Another heart on the turn. Check around. 2 on the river. So I have the worst possible flush and a set. Early bet is 15. I call as does one other. They both have aces wth no hearts. I take it. Very surprsing. Plus 14 at 4 hours.

Pocket 22 again. 8 Q 7 on the flop, and it is checked around. 2 on the turn. No flush. I bet 20 and get two callers. I bet another 20 on the 9 on the river and got raised 40 more. I paid to see it and of course he had 10 J.

AJ middle. I make it 10. The guy who spanked me earlier with the pocket 2s went all in. I put him on a medium pocket and I called. I was wrong. He had AQ. That is not good, and the flop of A K 10 doesn't help. On the other hand, they were all spades and I have the A of spaces. So I need a J or a spade. The turn gave me another of my suit. Woo hoo! Up 70 in 4 hours. I left soon thereafter.
