The Wish List Page of Kathleen G. Holland

This page is not really meant for the general public, but rather for those friends and family of Kathleen who want too ask the dreaded question 'What do you want for Xmas/birthday/etc'. For those of you who are randomly browsing the web, it gives you a bit of information about my personality.

There are two types of gift ideas here. The first category is those things that Kathleen always likes. The good old standby things you know she will always appreciate. The second category is things that Kathleen would like this year but will not necessarily want (or still need) six months from now.

Always:

  • Bath things - bath salts, sponges, accessories, etc.

  • Fruity/vanilla/sweet (as opposed to flowery/spicy/minty) scented things like tea, candles, bubblebath, soap, etc.

  • Gourmet hot cocoa; cinnemon, vanilla, dark and intense.

  • Good books (light reading rather than serious literture) I am currently reading Millenium.

  • Xmas ornaments that have some meaning to remind me of you. This is of course if the holiday in question is Xmas. Home decorations for other holidays, such as Haloween, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, etc., also are good.

  • Kitchen toys. Whatever the latest silly gadget is. I love gadgets especially practical ones - but mostly I just love having gadgets.

  • Science toys (yet more gadgets - useless or otherwise. I love the Levitron I got for Xmas.)

  • Baloons, plants, perenial flowers.

  • Interesting and unique pens, pencils, etc.

    Right now:

  • Flannel lined pants for winter (size 16).

  • A shell for my truck.

  • A desk organizer to keep my pens etc in at work.

  • Gulliver's Travels

  • Garment labels for stuff I sew and knit. The ones that say something like "Handmade by Kathleen Holland", or something like that. The Delux Woven Label Company P.O. Box 229, Altoona PA 16603 sells them (36 for $20), but a better deal might be found, I don't know.

  • A hot tub (One can always hope!)

  • A greenhouse (Someday)
