These are the most beautiful mountains of the world. A big Internet
guide to this place is being prepared by

Cities
There is an archetype of a city, somewhere in my mind. It must have
a market square, a city hall, some churches and a castle. And all of these
should be placed in a nice natural landscape - some water and some hills.
Note that this definition rules out a lot of famous places, like Venice
(no hills), San Francisco (no market square), or even my home place Wroclaw
(no hills). Are there any places, that comply to a definition like that?
Yes! And here they are, some followed by a list of links, some still unkwnown
on the Internet.
- Prague. The capital of Czech Republic is placed on several hills
on both sides of Veltava. Charles' Bridge is the most famous of many, which
allow crossing the river. Lots of towers offer incredible views of the
city

- Olomouc is located in Northern Morava (Czech Republic), has
two (yes!) market sqaures, Upper and Lower. As the names suggest - hills
are also there. But the most imporesive feature of this city is an uncountable
number of fountains - they are simply on every street...

- Wroclaw - though no hills, I couldn't stop myself from putting

Wroclaw,
- Kutna Hora was the second big city of Bohemia in middle ages,
when in the surrounding hills silver mines were operating. When layers
of the precious metal were finished, the fame of the city was gone, but
it's beauty still remains, and it's easy to find, since there are no crowds,
just wonderfull, mostly late gothic churches and palaces.
- Klodzko is situated in Sudety, dominated by a great fortress,
and hides many tunnels, cellars and secret underground corridors. It also
has a bridge, surprisingly similar to the Charles bridge, though not so
large.

Somehow a random collection, leading to many different sites about my
region. I hope that with the expansion of Internet,
this list will grow, too.
