STEM FOPF

I have graduated from MIPT, Department of General and Applied Physics in June 2000. I have learned a lot of valuable experiences during my years at Phystch and would like to devote this part of my website to my Alma Mater.

Phystech has just celebrated its 50-year anniversary on December 14, 2001. The Institute currently goes through a very difficult part in its history due to the lack of funds and introduction of innovations into its system of education including introduction of new "bazovye kafedry" and elimination of unpopular old ones.

I am currently involved with Phystech Career Center (I have led the project on its reorganization in the fall 2001) and somewhat with MIPT Alumni Club. There are many ways in which we, alumni, can help the institute. You can get involved with a particular project (with Alumni Club or Career Center) or just join Alumni Club and be part of the community which tries to help students and the institute. This is a new type of activities for Russia, but Alumni Associations are successfully existing in US for many decades and are a valuable source of information and support for current students.  Phystech and its current students need your support. Learn more in Get Involved or email me.
