Cancellation policy

• If the trip is cancelled by us then your money is completely refundable.
• If you cancel before May 15, 1997, your money is refundable except for a $200 cancellation fee.
• If you cancel after May 15 and a suitable replacement is found, then your money is completely refundable except for a $200 cancellation fee.
  
• If you cancel in the period July 1 to July 15 inclusive (and no replacement is found), then half your total payment is refundable. (Note: dates are reckoned according to Los Angeles time)
  
• If you cancel after July 15 (and no replacement is found), then there is no refund.
  
• The silver lining: if you cancel then, depending on our non-refundable expenses in booking your transportation, hotel etc, some of your payment will be considered a donation to the project and therefore tax deductible in the US. Contact us for more information.
