French playwright Jean-Michel Ribes' wrote a collection of short plays Théâtre Sans Animaux: Neuf pièces facétieuses (2001, Actes Sud-Papiers, Paris) (Theater without Animals: nine facetious pieces), which premiered in Paris in 2001. I found some of them hilarious. I present them here, in their order in the book, with my own amateur translations and automated translations from Babelfish, which acted as a proofreader, had some vocabulary I lacked, and made some laughable mistakes. Please feel free to point out mistakes in my translations.
