Just a couple quotes.
First, from the Congressional Record:
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The Chair will remind Members that it is not in order to question the credibility of the President.
Then, paraphrasing, from Jay Leno a few nights ago:
We are writing a new constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours. It has served us well for over 200 years, and we aren't using it anyway.
Why do we even have Congress if the Legislative Branch is not to serve as a check-and-balance against the Executive Branch?
