Background and Future Plans

I entered Caltech in 1984, and graduated in 1989 with a B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science- Aeronautics. I then went to Michigan State to get an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, which I finished in 1991.

In April 1998, I completed my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State. All told, I have had responsibilities encompassing diverse aspects of the following job titles: Remote WebMaster (current), Research Scientist, Mac/Unix/VMS IS Manager, Consulting Systems Engineer, Design & Development Engineer, and Field Applications Engineer.
