Tad Hogg

I lived in Blacker while an undergrad at 'Tech, majoring in physics. My graduate work at Stanford investigated chaos in quantum mechanics and parallel computer systems.

Currently I'm at HP Labs. Previously I was in the Internet Ecologies and Dynamics of Computation groups at Xerox PARC.

My research includes

A nontechnical review of heuristic quantum algorithms for combinatorial search is my essay Quantum Search Heuristics in A Quantum Leap for AI which appeared in the July/August 1999 issue of Intelligent Systems.

For obscure historical reasons, "Hogg" rhymes with "rogue" rather than "fog".
